Green lights, on.

The month of Ramadan is officially over.

Time for the celebration to kick in and watch this occasion bring together people's family and friends for a big reunion over at their 'kampung' or open house. With lots of yummy tantalizing food like rendang ayam (anyone kind enough to bring me some rendang ayam? Please & thank you.), hundreds of relatives, old and new faces and the children's (never the parents) favourite part, the 'duit raya'.

A very similar tradition like we, Chinese have with the Lunar New Year or Indians with Diwali. It is a time where plenty of people are heading back towards their hometown for the holiday, which means less congestion in KL and PJ. I wish for everyone to enjoy their holidays and have a safe trip, remember to drive slowly!

Other than a time for celebration, it is also a time for atonement. If I have ever done any wrong towards you, whether through speech or action, intentional or accidental, I am sorry. Or in less and simpler words, mohon maaf Zahir & Batin.

Salam Aidilfitri.

oves,
