I'm sure you've heard.
Iphone 4 is now finally launched in Malaysia! (officially) Digi is now giving away an iPhone 4 to a lucky blogger and I would love for it to be me!
So, the question for today is, why do I want (desperately) an iPhone 4?
I guess to answer that question, I would have to bring you back to the month of April. To be exact, April 19 2010. It was the day where the photos of the then rumoured iPhone 4 camouflaged as a 3GS that was found in a bar in Redwood City, appeared on gizmodo.
When I first feast upon my eyes on those photos, I fell in love with it, as cliche as that sounds. But I did. The look of it was the kind I would prefer, it was sleek, square, flat and no longer had the funny looking curve back that previous iphones had.
I told myself I had to have one.
I didn't really bothered to know about the improvements of the firmwares and the functions it offered. I just know that it was just perfect to me. Since then I have longed for the iPhone 4 to be officially announced, praying that the rumour wasn't just a rumour, and I was brought to joy when Apple did announce the product back in July.
Though being an Apple fan and a Mac user, I never found myself liking the previous iPhone models because of the design of it. I preferred having an ipod touch rather than an iphone 3GS. So it's safe to say that this iPhone 4 is the only iPhone that I liked, well, love.
The whole design of the iPhone 4 is just astonishing.
I mean, just look at those photos from Apple, who doesn't want one? Does one really need a solid reason to say that he/she wants an iPhone 4? Okay, I agree, it's a want. Not a need. But thinking it over, I do think I could use a new phone.
After all, I've been using my SE w960i for quite some time now. It has been a loyal companion through thick and thin since February 2008. It's been great and all great things have to come to an end. For my current phone, the end is here.
It no longer works the same anymore. Certain parts of the screen doesn't respond. The os system lags for what seems to be a lifetime. It shuts itself off when it's not in the mood. It doesn't notify me when I receive new messages. And it doesn't put calls through when people call me. It has a mind of it's own and mood swings of a 2 year old.
Probably because it knows iPhone 4 is now launched.
And I want one.
♥oves,
vee.
