My blog is now carbon neutral.
Living a life in the modern world isn't doing very well for the earth, even though we live on it. Especially with all the modern technologies that are being used everyday to make our lives more comfortable, which leaves carbon footprints.
Even by blogging.
I would still like to keep my blog, so in order to cut down the footprints that I'm leaving, I'm writing this post to support the programme 'My blog is carbon neutral'; the initiative that originally started in Germany by 'Make it Green' programme.
But how does writing this post reduce the carbon footprints?
By writing this post thus showing your support, the Arbor Day Foundation will then plant a tree for your blog. The tree will be planted in Northern California, their goal is to reforest the Plumas National Forest.
It's really simple and you can do it too! All you have to do is write a post, include their buttons on your site and send your link to them; a tree will then be planted for you!
How easy is that?
